FTII PROTEST INCOHERENT

FTII the institute where around 12 lac spend per student which is too high then an IIT where money spend by government per student is just 3.5 lac. The place where the protest initiated with the recruitment of Gajendra Chauhan to the post of Chairman of FTII and later it took political turn. The question arises here that though we have democracy which gives us the right of speech and expression and also the right to protest, but up to which limit it is convenient to protest ? And how much to Emphasis on our demands ? As the protest initiated with recruitment of chairman , the reason behind was 1) Fear of saffronisation at FTII 2) Impotent of Gajendra Chauhan to that post.
For the first reason i would like to mention that in the past when Vinod Khanna the MP of BJP was chairman of FTII then where were protestants ? then was there no chance for saffronisation ? What exactly is the need to give political turn for this incoherent protest ? moving towards second reason the i think he should be given some time to work and then it will be better to judge or justify his recruitment. The protest before knowing his credentials is too hurry.
The next important thing is that as the protest was initiated against newly appointed chairman and also many politicians tried to mislead it by visiting this site. but later the protestants were arrested and put behind the bars. the reason for their detention was not the protest against chairman but the protest against their own assassination from FTII. Most of the people stand with them at the time of detention just for the sake of humanity and also found this action undemocratic. But the truth is their assassination is legitimate and should not be opposed.
As i stated initially the expenditure of government behind single student is 12 lac. The point is, is it necessary to spend so huge money on development of film and television? And the most important point related to assassination is that the students of 2008 batch were ordered to vacant the hostels. as looking towards their academics they should have completed their degree in 2011 but they didn't and were living by taking extension. The reason for extension was that they wanted to do some creativity. But they have done nothing new and taking too long to complete their course. I think they should stop protest and let the institute run properly. Students of 2008 batch should complete their course as soon as possible and pass out from FTII. And government should take some adequate decision about expenditure of Tax collected from Indian citizens. The optimum money should be spend on FTII .
